Subsidies A-Z

Expect boundless results. Endorsed by support programmes, “Subsidies A-Z” is freely accessible and can be used free of charge.

Enter new markets with above average growth. Where exports are increasing, despite the weak euro. Assisted by EU government subsidies. It’s true – you can expect more. The “Subsidies A-Z” database provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the support programmes.

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Cohesion Fund are striving for the economic acceleration of the European countries that are still less developed.

Complementing these EU programmes financially or thematically, Switzerland finances projects in Central and Eastern Europe through the Swiss enlargement contribution. To implement the projects, consignments, construction services and the provision of services are put out to tender. The contract is awarded according to the WTO regulations for public procurement. Thanks to these regulations, Swiss companies can also apply for contracts being financed by the enlargement contribution and the EU fund.

What does this actually mean? Swiss SMEs have boundless perspectives in the new growth markets in Central and Eastern Europe. And, if certain criteria are fulfilled, with government support. Depending on the location and commitment, over 50% of the total investment can be financially supported through public EU support programmes – for Swiss companies too.
