2012

ICT solution is the latest service. SwissCEE offers the freely accessible Country Focus, which is updated each year as of mid-May. procure.ch, an important professional association for purchasing management, is cooperating with SwissCEE.


2011

The language solutions are being expanded significantly: An efficient translation portal is newly available to SwissCEE customers.  As one of the most challenging projects, we analysed and evaluated a total of 19 countries for Hamilton within four weeks. The Polish company, PZL-Swidnik, is supplying the first aircraft structure for the PC-12 to Pilatus Flugzeugwerke (project 2007). The project realised for Pilatus Flugzeugwerke is mentioned in the media. 20 Years of Switzerland-Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce: As a partner, SwissCEE contributes to its success.


2010

SwissCEE supports the 1 August celebration. From numerous SwissCEE projects in Central and Eastern Europe, the successful applications for subsidy funds of the Swiss enlargement contribution stand out:  The beneficiaries are the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, the Prague University of Economics and the Czech Green Cross. With Delta Zofingen AG, the Swiss spiritual group, SwissCEE is supporting a project in several countries simultaneously for the first time.

2009

Together with OSEC, SwissCEE is organising the seminar "Business with and in Central and Eastern Europe" in Zurich. Since the beginning of the year SwissCEE has been supporting the Czech Green Cross "Kid's Smile" project and the child care platform www.esgehtauchso.ch. Our language services are being expanded and projects are being managed transparently and efficiently using new software we have developed ourselves. SwissCEE Agency s.r.l. has been accepted as a full member of the Swiss-Romanian Chamber of Commerce. We are becoming network partner for Central and Eastern Europe for the procure.ch (Swiss Association of Purchasing and Materials Management) and have been given the quality status “Official Osec Expert” by Osec.

08

SwissCzech became SwissCEE (Central Eastern Europe). Follow-up projects and new projects in Poland and Romania expanded SwissCzech Agency's sphere of activity far beyond the Czech border. In October 2008 the Eastern Europe office was opened in Bucharest with SwissCEE Agency s.r.l. In the same year SwissCEE introduced a new Internet presence. Roger J.M. Hutter was voted onto the Board of the Swiss-Czech Chamber of Commerce. SwissCEE took part in the Euro 2008 soccer party in Prague, as a sponsor. SwissCEE was registered with the European office as a brand and logo.


2007

Numerous projects for companies such as ABB, Bystronic, Pilatus Aircraft, EMS-PATVAG and FAES were successfully concluded and contributed to the expansion of the company's activities. SwissCzech implemented the first major project for Language Services. SwissCzech became a full member of the Swiss-Czech Chamber of Commerce. The range of expert conferences was expanded: SwissCzech Agency arranged participation in trade fairs, plant visits and seminars with speakers from business and politics.


2006

This was the year that SwissCzech Agency s.r.o was founded in Prague. Roger J.M. Hutter realised his business idea of supporting Swiss SMEs with his acquired specialist knowledge by implementing their projects as a local representative. In June 2006 he started his job as a business developer and the following month took on his first employees. EMS-PATVAG AG, member of the EMS Group, gave SwissCzech Agency its first mandate, which was successfully concluded the same year. SwissCzech Agency took part in the Swisstech trade fair in Basle and contributed to the Czech Republic's community stand.


2005

As the final stage of his intensive degree course in SME Management at the University of St. Gallen, Roger J.M. Hutter submitted his thesis "Partnership between Swiss and Czech SMEs to increase international competitiveness." His work was graded as "very good" by the university. In the same year he gained further experience as a member of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and of Czechinvest, the national investment and business development agency (Ministry for Trade and Industry). His business idea of being a local representative for german-speaking investors, smoothing the way for successful business enterprises in the Czech Republic, took shape.


Before 2005

Roger J.M. Hutter gained many years practical experience in management posts in industry and also as a business consultant in one of the world's leading auditing companies. Later on the opportunity arose to combine this experience from production and financial consultancy, when Roger J.M. Hutter took over as managing director of a leading Swiss language service provider. His first practical experience with Central and Eastern Europe was in 1989 when he took an active part in a Swiss SME's offshoring project - one of the first ten Swiss direct investments in the former Czechoslovakia.
